Goal of the event

This event is aimed at companies, experts and decision makers who have interest in creating and supporting new crisis management business partnerships. As a result of this event, we will start to create a joint European Human Security network, which will tackle food, water, health, environment, and other Peace & Security issues worldwide by creating new sustainable business partnerships, according to UN Agenda 2030. Partnership with companies, experts and decision makers is crucial for successful crisis management – you are invited to make an impact!


Human Security Finland ( is an award-winning business network concept for international development and crisis management. It facilitates the formation of business partnerships between companies and experts to assist developing countries and crisis-hit regions with solutions to support sustainable development. Currently the network contains more than 80 companies and public organizations.

The Human Security Finland partners were present at the United Nations World Humanitarian Summit held on Istanbul, 2016. Human Security Finland is also a winner of the European Enterprise Promotion Award 2016.

Preparations for expanding the Human Security network in Europe have been started, led by Savonia University of Applied Sciences. Currently we call the concept Human Security Europe. Savonia University of Applied Sciences together with its partners would like to cordially invite you to the Human Security Europe networking event in Brussels.
